- What is Fast Media?
We are a Media company that specialises in the licensing of creative content. This includes photography, illustrations, video, music and tools to manage and edit this content. This is licensed by companies to illustrate and improve their communication.
- Why would I licence content?
Every piece of content is made by someone. These creators invest time, money and talent into creating it and this can be their full or part time occupation. We enable creators to earn a living and clients to have access to their work by paying a reasonable licence fee.
- What about content I find online?
You can find a lot of content online by using search engines. Sometimes you will find results from companies like ours, some directly from the creators and sometimes on websites of clients that licensed it. The bottom line is that the majority of that content is not free and will have to be licensed to be used legally.
- What is a licence?
It is a specific permission to use a piece of content in a certain way. It does not give you full ownership. What it does do is give you a well defined and sometimes very broad right to use the piece of content in the way you need.
- Do you offer free content?
Currently we don’t but we can and will point you in the right direction through our blog and otherwise. We believe that the right mix of free, affordable and premium content is the best way to a build a strong content strategy
- Why don’t you have all content on one platform?
We have chosen to offer our content through distinct channels. The main ones are 123RF for affordable content and XXX for our news/editorial and specialist collections. These are quite different types of collections and by offering it on different platforms we can ensure none of the collections get snowed under and things are easier to find. We do provide unified support across all the channels.
- What is 123RF?
We represent and licence 123RF on 123RF.com It is one of the World’s leading collections of affordable content. It contains over 150 million images and grows at a fast pace. The licences are Royalty Free making usage flexible and easy. Pricing is extremely competitive and images can be purchased with subscriptions, download packs and credits. The collection is edited to ensure it is safe to use and offer legal protection for unlikely rights issues
- What is FM.Pictures?
This is our website for our editorial and specialist collections at fm.pictures. This website offers images that are not available on 123RF. It is primarily meant for businesses and publishers in particular. Images can be purchase and downloaded online or through underlying agreements between Fast Media and a client.
- What is FM.House?
This is the starting point for our clients and everyone interested in licensing content. It contains links to all the channels that our clients use to licence various types of content. It also has information about our content management system, useful tools, our blog and special offers
- I don’t know how to start, what do I do?

- What does it cost to use an image?
That totally depends on the type of content you need. But downloads can start from as low as 50 cents with a 123RF subscription or a few Euros with a download pack. The larger the package the lower the price per image. For our fm.pictures content we usually agree fixed pricing with our business clients. We are always happy to do quotes, give indications and think about the most affordable way for our clients to use as much content as possible within a budget.
- How save is it to licence with you?
Our 123RF collection is thoroughly checked by a team of editors to ensure images are safe to use and have the correct releases. 123RF even offers a $25.000 legal guarantee in case any issues arise. Some of the collections on fm.pictures are save to use due to their age. Others need a bit more care as some usages are not permitted. Our team has a lot of experience in advising clients what’s possible and what’s not
- How can I pay for an image licence?
On 123rf,com with paypal, iDeal and Credit Card and on fm.pictures with paypal and stripe (which includes multiple payment options). For companies it is also possible to purchase via an invoice and bank transfer.
- What is Royalty Free?
Royalty Free or RF is a type of licence. It allows a wide range of usages without having to give many details about how the image is being used, where it is used and for how long. Generally choosing an editorial / commercial / extended licence is enough. Once this is purchased the use is generally unlimited in nature
- What is Rights Managed?
This is a Type of licence where clients/users of the content with a bit more information about how the image is used. This includes things like type of medium / Size / Printrun / Region / Duration. The price is then calculated on that basis and the licence is recorded. Because a licence history is know it is possible to show how an image has been used and possibly to get exclusive usage rights
- Is there a way to save and share my images?
We sell a content management system that allows saving, organising and sharing of both our content as that of other suppliers and even internal media. This way everything is in one place, easy to find, shareable across teams with version control etc. Please contact us for more information and pricing
- What other tools do you have?

We might run promotions every now and then. For enterprise clients we generally agree preferred pricing agreements based on specific requirements of these businesses
